I started my adventure with EGEA nearly 10 years ago in Warsaw where I studied. After five beautiful years of congresses, exchanges and other EGEA-interactions, I retired in Berlin where I live and work as Data Scientist to this day. In the meantime, I did have some professional flings with geography and hope to one day work closer to my roots again. In my free time, I either do sports, hang out with my cat or built this website for you (so if you see anything is looking funny here, please let me know!).

I studied Communications BA and only realised how awesome geographers are when starting my Masters in Cultural Geography. Finally people who understand that you should have your walls filled with world maps! I Work as a policy maker in the bicycle paradise of Groningen and encourage everybody to cycle more. Showing foreign visitors what cycling can do for their city is something I enjoy a lot. Those visits are done in the spirit of EGEA excursions: adventure, educative and fun! In my free time I enjoy doing bootcamp and learning to grow some veggies in my new garden.

Well, I discovered EGEA in second year of my University studies and my whole student life got changed. I went for my first international EGEA event in April 2012. After that I have participated in many congresses, exchanges and other events. When my working life started I lost the contact with Uni and EGEA, but EGEA spirit has never been lost 🙂. I work in regional development agency and in my free time I like cycling, spending time in nature, gardening. But this year I spent almost all of the free time with renovating the house and creating a new home.

I have joined EGEA in 2011 in Kyiv. Since then I've changed places of living, majors, jobs, but love to geography and EGEA remains permanent. At the moment I work as infrastructure planer in the lovely city of Augsburg. I spend most of my free time outdoors, mostly in the mountains - hiking, skiing, cycling, swimming. Other than that I like football, reading, going to concerts, learning foreign languages and daydreaming about my next trip.
